Hello everyone,

here is a little tip, for a last minute Christmas gift, which offers a lot of freedom for creativity.

Homemade chocolate, completely without palm fat and additives.

Ingredients in organic quality for 3 bars a 90 g:

  • 100 g cocoa butter
  • 100 g cocoa
  • 40 agave syrup, honey or coconut syrup
  • 40 g hazelnut puree, almond puree or coconut puree
  • 2- 3 drops of food grade essential oil of choice.

Suggestions are here: Peppermint, Vanilla, Tonka, Cardamon, Cinnamon Orange….

If you like you can also add cocoa nibs, almond or nut pieces or dried fruit, there is plenty of room for your own creation.

For white chocolate please take

  • 100 g cocoa butter
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 80 g coconut puree or light almond puree

Materials needed:

  • Chocolate mould, alternatively silicone moulds or a loaf pan for baking cakes are also suitable
  • Melting pot, bowl in a water bath
  • Scale
  • Dough scraper and mixing spoon

Melt the cocoa butter in a water bath, stir in the nut puree and agave syrup. Then stir in the cocoa powder until it dissolves

This has dissolved without lumps. Now add the essential oils. The mixture can now be poured into the mold.

After pouring, turn the mold upside down several times so that any air bubbles dissolve.

If you like, you can sprinkle the dried fruit or nuts on top.

Then place the mold in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes to harden. When the chocolate is hard enough, you can easily remove it from the mold.

Already you have a great individual Christmas gift. Of course, you can enjoy the chocolate all year round.

Have fun with the stirring

Kind regards

Verena Grewenig
